Athiesties: Do you think it is possible to get Blood of Jesus™ from a turnip?

I've heard you "can't get blood from a turnip" and you "can't get blood from a stone", but does anybody have any concrete data on Blood of Jesus™ ? I'll accept pooled data, puddles of blood or even poodles blood as long as it is discreetly discrete.
