Did you know that the tradition of the Olympic torch relay was started by the Nazis as Propaganda?

The first time it was done was at the 1936 games in Berlin under Hitler. Josef Goebbels insisted on the idea to act as propaganda to promote the Nazi Ideologies. (something about ancient greece being the predecessor to Nazi Germany.... it doesn't make much sense though, but the Nazi's logic usually didn't)
