Would you say he maybe likes me? Or is starting to?

So this guy is new and he just came to my school for about a month. I went up to him just to be friendly but now I've fallen for him?! >> so anyways, he always sort of goes with me around school although i know he's now pretty friendly with other people. So we'll be hanging out with a groul of friends and I'll ask him to go somewhere say the courtyard and without a word, he'll go with me and leave everyone else. We take the same bus together and once he motioned for me to sit next to him. He doesnt really talk or hang out a lot with girls. My friend was telling me that the guy is only open towards me. Idk. We've been talking on fb a lot. And he's really chivalrous towards me too. He opens doors for me, he helps hold my books, etc. Does he perhaps like a little?
