Could I make it to Broadway? Or should I just stop dreaming?

i know EXACTLY how you feel. im 13, and i auditioned for miss hannigan in annie jr. i didnt get it. i got a very small servent role that sung maybe one stanza. i felt so small and that everyone was better than me. then after the play, some popular girl i hardly know came up to me and said, "for what its worth i think you did your part beautifully." at first i was embarresed and i didnt wan to accept the compliment, just like you. but then i learned that when some one gives you a compliment, just smile, thank them and maybe even compliment them back. so who cares if you got a small role? make the director regret not giving YOU the lead. show them what you can really do. as you do more plays, youll get bigger parts. keep on with your dream. make it to broadway. and shine like the star you really are.
