Help My hamster isnt eating?

She must not be used to the pellets. What was your friend feeding her? She may not recognize the pellets as food. So give a tiny bit of millet mixed in with the pellets. By the way, hamsters always chew on the cage bars, it's to keep their teeth healthy or something. I used to feed my hamsters something that looked more like bird seed, with sunflower seeds and other things. I didn't use pellets.
