I never asked a girl out, will one come to me?

I'm 14 and never had a girlfriend. I'd be fine in a relationship but not before we start talking. Will a girl ever ask me out because I know guys always ask the girls out but I want it to be the other way around for high school. P.S. I go to a small scoll with misfit kids. There's also a prom coming up. Will someone ask me out then. Pss I look like the kid from 2 1/2 menand cracks jokes(occasinally dirty). Hope this helps.
