Do you think i am i being silly?

my fiance told me he didnt like the way my hair looked before we were supposed to go dancing for the night and i got pissed, started crying and the whole night was ruined... do you think i was being silly, or should i have just said, "well, if you dont like it, too bad, dont lok at it." and go out without any issues? also, what do you think about the man who doesnt wrap his arms around his girl when she cries? instead, just asks why you have to cry all the time (and you are an over emotional person and probably cry way too much.)
